Remains a solid show. One of the few mainstream true crime podcasts that bring to light cases from marginalized communities AND they genuinely advocate for the victims and give opportunities to help instead of simply exploit the gruesome details of a story. That’s awesome. But I am getting. So. Tired. Of Brit’s judgmental commentary of the family and friends of victims. She’s constantly picking apart their responses and actions and it’s just so unfair. Even Ashley has to backpedal for her and is always adding ‘by the way, we’re not saying….’ As Brit then just stays silent. If they don’t respond to a crisis perfectly, please just let it be. These people are suffering enough having lost their loved ones. Obviously other people in the comments are getting fed up with her commentary and interruptions- so it’s a legitimate issue. I know you guys are a well-established show, but please consider the critique!
