I had been searching for a good true crime podcast and I started listening to two others but bailed pretty quickly on both . I am a 60 yo guy and am far from being sheltered but the cursing on the other two shows was distracting. Ashley and Brit make a point to not curse and the content is well done. Back in the day , The f word was a regular part of my vocabulary and one day I realized how cursing was changing people’s perception of the kind of person that I am both professionally and personally.
My daughters, Katie and Becky are the same ages of Ashley and Brit and I have never heard a curse word come from either of them. My daughter Becky is the one who suggested your podcast and I’m glad she did. Her and I are both obsessed with Crime Junkies.
I also love the fact that Ashley and Brit are animal lovers. We have five rescues and have had 4 rescues who have passed. We have Doug, Benimin , Oliver, Poppy and Little.
