Kathy’s call to chaplaincy followed a life-altering cancer diagnosis and a near-death experience, events that reshaped her understanding of purpose, healing, and the power of presence. Rather than retreating, she embraced the unknown. She discovered that life’s most excellent tools are love, service, and the ability to truly listen.

In both her hospital ministry and public speaking, Kathy seamlessly blends heartfelt storytelling, spiritual wisdom and gentle humor. Her signature presentation, “A Heart’s Journey: To Powerful Listening,” invites audiences to explore the transformative power of attentive presence, especially during times of grief, uncertainty, and change.
