A Mission To Amplify Voices : Interview with Erika Warner
Erika is the founder and lead teacher of Inglés Pa’ Mi Gente, an online platform empowering Latino immigrants in the U.S. through practical English. Born in Colombia and raised between cultures, she knows firsthand the challenges of adapting to a new country and language. With degrees in Hospitality & Tourism, Public Relations, and English Philology, plus TEFL and translation certifications, Erika combines academic expertise with real-life experience. She has taught in Spain, Ireland, Colombia, Russia, and the U.S., creating a welcoming space where learning English focuses on connection and progress, not perfection. Through her programs Inglés desde Cero and La Ciudadanía Paso a Paso, Erika has helped thousands gain the confidence and skills to thrive in their communities.
