Kevin P. Henry interviewed Professor Estilla Lightfoot from Tulane University in New Orleans. Professor Lightfoot went into great depth to explain the topic and how it affects People of Color in ways that are similar to PTSD. The professor also talked about how BIPOC parents can educate their children, address their own racialized issues as adults, and how white parents can pro-actively discuss race and social justice issues with their children rather than shield them from reality.
