Erika’s soothing voice, in and of itself, is enough the draw you in. The comprehensive research and narrative of the show keeps you coming back. Erika brings to each story full appreciation and respect for all victims, first and foremost.
As a doctor of psychology, I truly appreciate Erika’s review of murderer(s) background(s). Understanding motive/history is different from justifying - Erika provides enough information to illustrate possible reasons/environmental conditions why someone chose to commit a crime. Again, while being completely respectful to the victim and victim’s family. In fact, I challenge anyone to find a true crime podcaster who is more empathetic to victims.
Erika is a gem. The FB group is my favorite space online and feels like family. I’ll stick with her as long as this path continues.
