Absolute legend
This podcast has indoctrinated me into the world of true crime, and fueled this new (amazing) job as a part time crime junkie. So much love.
Obsessed.
I just discovered the Crime Junkie podcast around the time of the Jon Bennét episode release and now, I’m completely hooked. Both Ashley and Britt deliver each episode with a mixture of anticipation and tenacity. They also deliver each story with compassion for the families and victims of these horrific events and I have so much love and respect for Ashley and Britt because of that. Anyways, I’m so addicted, that I not only listen every week, but am now going back to former episodes I’ve missed and am listening to them now on my way to and from work. I am about to start listening to The Deck to see if I can further my cold case fix!
Good
Love the show but Britt just doesn’t do it for me. I know it’s apart of the story telling but her inputs just frustrate me.
Awesome Podcast
I absolutely love love love this podcast. 🫶🏼
Constructive criticism
I have to start with the fact that I do truly enjoy this podcast, I have been listening for quite some time, but I didn’t start from the beginning until just recently. I like the fact that the episodes are kind of titled because sometimes I honestly go through and pick what types of things I want hear about at the time. For example, a murder versus a missing person. One thing that I will say that bothers me is the tons of commercials, which I understand helps keep the podcast going as far as sponsorships and things like that. But they are a bit lengthy. Another thing is the fact that I feel like some of these cases are not researched thoroughly. I have listened to so many where Britt will ask very simple questions and Ashley says “I don’t know” or “I’m not sure”. I listen to tonsss of true crime podcasts where those types of questions are easily answered so I’m like…tell me moreeee because I want to know too and minor details are something very important to paint the pictures. Examples: “how far was the victim’s home from where they were found?” And small details like that… I’m only mentioning it because Ive noticed it so many times throughout the hundreds of episodes that I’ve listened to. Lastly, Suggestion: with rereleases maybe release content that was only available to premium subscribers initially. That gives your “normal” followers something new to listen to while you try to take a breather or be human lol! All in all I do love you ladies and I hope this feedback helps.
Best true crime podcast out there!
I live, laugh, LOVE this podcast!!! everything about it, so so soo amazing and fun, love Ashley and Brit and all of the cases are so interesting! I love the pace and how the stories are set up, it gives you the big picture in a way that isn't boring at all! I've tried several other podcasts before and none of them have had the vibe or the stories that crime junkie has. Some podcasts take forever to explain the case or they get distracted, but this podcast is PERFECT. I love it SO much, everyone should listen to it
Love it
Binging in 2025 since the first episode, can’t get enough 🩷
My therapy
I listen to yall on my way to work. On my way home from work. I have a stress job. Y'all voices help me stay calm.
Love Love Love
I’ve listened to a few different crime podcasts and this and Delia’s (counter clock)are my favorites. I don’t understand all the hate on Britt. Her asking the questions and reiterating things helps me remember things I forgot from earlier in the show. Sometimes she can sound a little judgy but she’s a live human being not some paid actor. And everyone complaining about ads…skip through it. They have to make money somehow. Nothing is free.
New(er) Subscriber But Now OBSESSED
I absolutely love this show. I listen to you all on the way to work, and even at work. I’ve also learned so much about being cautious when out and about. Thanks for all you do, you’ve gained a new loyal supporter!
Best podcast ever
I drove from SF, CA to Tampa, Florida and back and listened to crime junkies the WHOLE time. That’s over 80 hours of Crime Junkie. And I didn’t get sick of them once and it made the rides fly by. I loooove Ashley and Britt. Crime junkie 4ever!! (Also hate people being rude about Britt. She adds so much to the show. She says everything we’re all thinking as listeners!! Keep doing you Britt! We love you!!)
Favorite Podcast
I love it! I listen any chance I get and can’t wait each week for the new episode! I love the way they tell these stories and share all the details you wouldn’t hear on the news or true crime shows!
My new favorite
Love the great amount of details given to each case with few opinions given.
TRULY PHENOMENAL
ABSOLUTELY UTTERLY AMAZING PODCAST!!! THANK YOU AND DO NOT EVER CHANGE!!!
SO GOOD
Omigosh this is one of my favorite podcasts. I mostly love the murder cases because I like to pretend to be a detective and try and solve who did it and I also love Britt and Ashley’s little jokes at the beginning and end to try and help keep the mood not super dark.
My favorite podcast!
Absolutely love this podcast!! I had strayed away for a while but came back and can’t stop again. I love listening for hours on end while I do embroidery or just relax. This podcast is my favorite of all time!! Absolutely love the fact that they do not comment about current events like most podcasts do as well! Much love for Ashley and Brit!!
It’s ok
I do really like this podcast, but there’s a few things that tick me off. First off Brit. Now I’m not saying her voice is like nails on a chalkboard because I don’t believe that and it’s rude. But the thing I don’t like about her is how much she interrupts to ask unimportant questions about the story or questions that would be answered at later times. It just completely cuts the whole flow. Another thing is all of the rereleased episodes. I understand trying to get cases solved, but it’s repetitive and annoying if you’ve already listened to the episodes. It feels lazy especially if they’re doing a repost on a day where they should be posting new content. Idk I could just be a hater but those were just my thoughts.
I LOVE YALL
So I was just scrolling through the reviews and most were positive. Personally I love the pod so much. I did notice some criticism towards Britt. I do t know why and Britt and Ashley if yall see this yall are doing yalls thing and that's awesome. Idek why people take time out of their day to hate on yall. (I'm from Tennessee so ignore all the "yalls"😂) But keep doing yall cus there are so many crime junkies who love yall!
GREAT SHOW
I am THE true crime girly and I absolutely love these podcasts. Both Brit & Ash do great at limiting their personal opinions to ensure listeners are getting facts of the cases… but they also make it entertaining. You can tell they’ve been friends forever as their conversations just flow. I appreciate their desire to highlight cases that not a lot of folks talk about, at least not as much as they should.. and I truly love their desire to put information out there so that unsolved cases have a chance at justice for the victims. Great job, ladies! P.S. I’m only on episode 28 or something, so my apologies if you’ve already done the Ayla Reynolds case. If not, you should.
Healing
I started listening to this podcast 2018, this helps me deal with the murder of my brother and how to speak at the sentencing, sounds weird right? I know but I had to find away to forgive the person that took him away from us. Ashley and Brit gave me crime Junkie power. & with those two I thank them I find strength to heal Thanks guy’s Say hi to chuck for me ❤️ quinn
Amazing show!
I absolutely love this show! I have always been a true crime junkie and I never listened to podcasts until two months ago. I stumbled across the show and I’ve been listening to it NONSTOP all the way from the beginning. Ashley and Britt are amazing storytellers and being best friends adds an incredible level of fun I hope some day I can come to one of your live shows 😊
Perfection
Ashley and Brit tell such a great story that the victims deserve!
I’m OBSESSED!!!
Ladies first and foremost you guys are a great duo, the dynamic that you guys have is just so great. I recently became a Crime Junkie, podcast follower, but I have been following the Crime Genre for a while. I started watching many series on streaming apps but now that I’m all done with those I needed a new fix. It is so amazing to hear about new/different cases that don’t get the same media coverage/attention. I love your podcast and love the Amazing storytelling skills you guys have! Keep up the amazing work! IG: Arelyzzz_ X: @Arelyzzz_
love ❤️
love this show, so well told and so well researched! contrary to popular option, i really like brit!! her voice is really pleasant and she asks helpful, clarifying questions!! please do more brit run episodes!! ❤️❤️❤️
Love!
I love this podcast. I enjoy true crime and being able to listen while I’m working is fantastic. The detail is great. I’d give more stars if could haha
Good Show
Cons: The episodes feel rushed and short. Interviews feel rushed and the host tends to over speak people. No updates on cases. You have to pay to get full stories. Shows music kind of sounds like it is from a 70s ….. you know - can not un hear it once pointed out to me Bad commercial placement. Research feels incomplete. Pros: She has a great story telling voice. Lots of episodes. Brit is funny and relatable. Hits most highlights of a story. Brings attention to cases forgotten about. Brings attention to different causes. Does not glorify murder like some Podcasts. Gives some info on historical accuracies. Gives sources they used for the shows. Includes families.
A fav! If it ain’t broke..
I feel like I grew up with these Indiana girls, and I share some perspective with them because of where I’m located. This is one of my fav podcasts and I appreciate all the digging the team does to present straight facts. But like…. What’s a girl gotta do to get the f-word back? Crime Junkie’s massive success is in large part to us millennials sitting around listening to two friends speak to each other the same way we would speak to a friend. Idk if it’s an Indiana thing but we use the word a lot; to have it edited constantly is so annoying. It literally distracts from the story as I have to think of why half the word just went missing. Surely all the seasons prior to the editing proved we enjoyed listening just the way it was. It’s like riding the school bus and your fav song comes on but keeps bleeping or changing the words. No one wants that. And it’s hard to follow when words get silenced.
Is it weird this helps me fall sleep?
If I need to sleep and I can’t stop the circus in my brain, I turn on an episode and set sleep mode for 15 minutes. Ashley’s calm voice sends me every time.
Crime junkies
This is the best murder podcast I’ve ever heard of like its got so much detail and I love them also the story of Chris watts was sad and scary
Obsessed
One of the best crime podcast that I’ve run across! Ashley and Brit are just amazing and extremely engaging! I haven’t been a fan for long but now I’m a lifetime one for the time that I’ve binge listened to their podcast. I’ve absolutely fell in love with everything that they do! They cover just about any mystery unsolved to solved and the unknown as well as amazing people and survivors! My favorite thing about this podcast that some might not like is that there is a lot of unsolved crimes and questions that they cover but for good reason, Brit and Ashley tell their story when people, the media and the police have forgotten about them. I love their passion for safety for women and men. They’re just absolutely amazing people and the podcast is just worth it!
