I’ve been listening to Crime Junkie for years now and I absolutely love the work and soul that is poured into each episode. I used to listen to get through my office job, and I now listen on drives when the only place my baby will sleep is in the car!! (Don’t worry she can’t understand anything yet.)
What I think is most compelling is the clear respect and care that is placed into the research to produce each episode. There is a great mix of your own theories and questions, but it is all backed my evidence and photos and testimonies. I’ve listened to other crime podcasts that felt almost like a mockery of the actual case, and they would make me feel uneasy. Crime Junkie is the complete opposite!!
This feels like a crime podcast that truly works within the community and with those who have been silenced. Thank you for bringing light to cases and causes that have been pushed aside, and for listening to families who need and want that help.
Will keep listening and highly recommend for anyone who wants to get into crime podcasts!!
