Exactly what I was looking for

These ladies get to the point! I love that they keep chit chat to a minimum and stick mostly to facts. It makes for a truly interesting podcast because the stories are fascinating without being embellished. Also, I’m from Indiana and I love the early episodes with the crime stoppers ads

Crime Junkie Review

Great podcast!! As a consistent listener, I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who loves true crime like I do. Extremely reliable and thoroughly researched. Unfortunately, I will have to agree with my fellow Junkies when they say Brit needs to tell part of the story or remain silent. Her commentary and random gasps are useless and quite frankly, obnoxious. With all of that said, keep it up ladies, you’re podcast is something I look forward to every week. Also, Ashley, GO SUNDEVILS!! (MURDERED: Fiona Yu).

I love this podcast overall!

I really do love this podcast. I think the stories are really good. My only wish is it was without Brit or at least Brit wouldn’t make such weird “duh” comments. Also for some reason when Brit talks it gets really loud in my ear so the audio could be leveled out better or something. Still like listening to Ashley and the stories even if Brit is tagging along. Recently listened to a few where Brit wasn’t in them and my boyfriend and sister would finally listen again! I’m sorry Brit it really isn’t personal I swear, just wish you had a different role as a listener.

a thank you and a suggestion!

I love the podcast! The background music has gotten more intense and therefore distracting recently, but I don’t mind it if it’s jazz music. :) Also, to make the live,lagh,love user feel better, I am only 12 years old and started listening when I was 11! So if you see this review ur not alone i feel u lol. I just wish that the episodes were longer since they’re only once a week. Also, i have a great suggestion for commuters: Morbid podcast! its a true crime podcast that also does some paranormal stuff, and have really long episodes. Ash and Alaina are really funny, and although there are lots of swear words sometimes, they are really compassionate for victims of crime, and they truly bring good to the world of crime podcasts. Anyway love the work and the podcast, thank you so much for all you do and your support toward shelters and other organizations, Ashley and Brit! <3

So good

I was looking through the reviews and saw a surprising number of negative ones. I personally love the background music, it adds such a sense of suspense and mystery but I don’t think it would hurt to turn it down a few notches. Brit, stop with the obvious questions. I love you both but I quite frankly don’t see why Brit is even there, she adds nothing. I think she should speak more or leave, but asking obvious questions that everyone thought of 3 minutes ago isn’t helping anything. Let her tell part of the story or kick her. Ashley, you talk just fine. I listen at 2x speed but if you talk to fast for some people, they can slow it down. I love you ladies and this podcast got me into true crime. Stay at it!

Best Podcast Ever

My daughter and I absolutely love Crime Junkie! We love Ashley and Britt, they do a great job reporting on each story, and we look forward to listening. We even have matching “Be Weird, Be Rude, Stay Alive” shirts :) I recommend to all my friends!

Love this podcast!

Finally a show where someone tells the story without a ton of opinions, dumb jokes, and unnecessary nonsense. I love that these women just simply tell the story! I get everything I want without being annoyed like so many other shows. I have been reading other reviews and I do have to agree that it is a little annoying when the cohost talks as tho she’s never heard of the story. I haven’t listened to any episodes that have a lot of background music and chaos yet. I’m hoping it’s not as bad as so many reviewers have stated. Keep up the amazing work ladies! Ps. I bought the book written by Ashley Flowers

I love this so much

Me and my mom have listened to this podcast for so long that I want all the merch all the time. I am a serious Crime Junkie fan and listen to all of the other audiochuck shows. Ashley is one of the best authors and hosts I have ever heard. Brit is also one of my favorites and I was so excited when she came back. I actually recommended this podcast to one of my teachers and I told her the LISK episodes were the first ones she should listen to, and she did. She came over to me during class and told me that she was hooked. Brit is truly one of a kind. Ashley, Brit, Chuck, Crime Junkie and audiochuck are truly one of a kind. Thank you for what you do! Annoyed

Usually my favorite podcast because they don’t have distracting music in the background. But for some reason there’s now music. I cannot even listen for more than 30 seconds without wanting to throw my phone. Unfortunately, gonna have to find another true crime podcast for the time being.
