Hooked!

A friend of mine told me about this podcast and I was hooked from the first episode. I binged all of them! Thank you for all you do for the victims and their families through sharing their stories and providing ways for us listeners to help. This is important work and you are making a difference!

THE BEST

I started listening to Crime Junkie back in 2019, I was pregnant with my first born at the time so when I went on maternity leave, it’s all I would listen to! When the pandemic hit, listening in was a MUST! As the years have gone on, it’s still my favorite podcast and their merch is so cute! I hope they never stop the amazing work they do, it’s been a journey from when I first found them. I’m so proud of all the good they’ve done! 💜

This podcast is the best!!!

They describe crimes and things like that so well, I’m literally sitting in my car listening to a episode wondering how I didn’t know about this before. I got recommended this podcast by my family members who listened to it as well. Ever since I started listening to these podcasts I have improved my understandings about everything and become more aware about things. All of these episodes are so wonderful and great to listen to in the morning, night, or any time of day! I really recommend this podcast for anyone who enjoys crime podcasts and things related to that. CRIME JUNKIE IS THE BEST!!!

The best crime podcast ever

I seriously can’t get enough of Crime Junkie and Audio Chuck in general. I wait every Monday for the new episode! Ashley and Brit have the best synergy in the industry, with a clear, simple, and easy-to-listen-to scriptwriting style. No fluff, just the facts! They also show so much empathy and emotion. I wish they were my friends in real life—they just make things feel REAL. My brother and I are starting a marketing industry podcast, Market Movers by our company, VCA. I can only hope to carry one-tenth of the energy and gusto they do. Ashley is such a powerhouse podcaster, and Crime Junkie is just the best, BEST!

Love love love

Loooove CJ!! Since I’ve heard every episode, sometimes I’ll go back and re-listen to unsolved cases. I know Britt’s commentary is either loved or hated, but she asks the questions I’m thinking and she’s helped me learn what questions I should be asking. I also really love The Deck, which is Ashley’s other show and if you haven’t checked it out this is your sign.

So many unsolved cases

So many of their episodes end with a turn to me to help solve the crime. Ladies, if I could I would! I get it that naysayers get angry that true crime shouldn’t be entertaining and that you might feel the need to use your voice to help others. Unfortunately, most of us listening can’t help solve the case and just want to hear about a mystery for a few minutes.

Love this podcast!

I had a hard time finding a podcast that told a true crime story while being respectful and also engaging. I tried to listen to others that were more chatter than reporting and couldn’t follow along. Then I found crime junkie, I have been hooked ever since! I love crime junkie and all you do to give back :)

Too Scripted

I want to like this show, but it sounds so scripted. Like they aren’t having a natural conversation, they typed it out ahead of time and are just reading it to each other. Might work if they were better actors, but it just sounds not good to me…
