Insanely dry. Which hey! This is what loads of people like. If you’re annoyed by banter being injected into true crime, this may be your #1. But if you’re looking for personality, this won’t be for you. They DO cover good stories and they ARE well researched. The main host (Ashley) speaks well, but the format is confusing. It’s Ashley “telling” a story to Brit, but clearly Brit has heard it already because she responds with awkwardly canned and painfully obviously scripted responses. She’s not meant to be a co-host, they have terrible chemistry, and she’s not genuinely being told a story so…I don’t get it?
