Great podcast
Love listening and Ashely and Britt do a great job
Crime junkie in Colorado
Love Ashley’s story telling skills. Can’t wait to see she has in store for us with her 2nd book!
Love this podcast!
I had a hard time finding a podcast that told a true crime story while being respectful and also engaging. I tried to listen to others that were more chatter than reporting and couldn’t follow along. Then I found crime junkie, I have been hooked ever since! I love crime junkie and all you do to give back :)
Can’t get enough!
Such great research and story telling. Ashley and Britt are wonderful and caring. Officially a crime junkie now!!
Too Scripted
I want to like this show, but it sounds so scripted. Like they aren’t having a natural conversation, they typed it out ahead of time and are just reading it to each other. Might work if they were better actors, but it just sounds not good to me…
LOVE
I love Crime Junkie!!! I know people are tired of the unsolved cases but, they are important to talk about. Thank you Brit and Ashley ♥️
I LOVE CRIME JUNKIE!
I don't listen to any other podcast. I maybe should, but I can never resist an episode. This work is important!
Noah Presgrove
I was going through a magazine and there was a section that I could hope you can go over the case. It a 19 year old boy named Noah Presgrove. He was found by the side of the road naked and dead. Sadly like most of the stories you tell the family are the people who are doing the research. It was Terral, Oklahoma, in September 4 2023. Noah was found on highway 81 outside of Terral. I found this information in the people magazine August 5, 2024. PLEASE go over this case. Don’t know these people but I want to help pls go over this case.
Fully body chills every episode
My favorite part of listening to crime junkie is how it feels like your gossiping with your friends about the craziest crime stories. Easy listens and great stories. I can never get enough and have listened to all episodes multiple times.😅
Crime Junkie
This podcast made me a crime junkie and I don't regret it 🤍🤍
OMG!!🤩
When i say i listen to this 24/7 I mean you can’t get me off, to the point where my siblings are now getting annoyed. This podcast is the thing that gets my up in the morning and puts me to bed(even though i might go to bed a little scared). I love love love it sooooo much!!😍😜
Just because
Just adding another 5 star because you guys are AMAZING and I keep seeing one star reviews for the stupldest reasons. Keep it up! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
audio balancing + more
guys.. your editors need to balance your audio better. i have to turn up the volume to hear ash talk and then turn it way, way down because brit is so loud for no reason. tbh, brit doesn't even need to be there. she says the most predictable things and adds nothing but a gasp when necessary.
Fan of Crime Junkie
I love these ladies and the way they present information!
Good podcast
I like listening to your podcast!❤️ I think you should cover the mass shooting at McDonald’s in 1984. It’s a documentary of it.
Favorite of all podcasts
I have not listened to any CJ all summer, I’ve been saving them for a long haul plane ride. I cannot WAIT to get caught up. Thanks for all you do Ashley & Co.!
Sooooooooooo good
I love it I love the host Ashley flowers it’s so good love it
Interesting stories but
One of the hosts has a habit of screeching dramatically into the mic and using this weird folksy accent.
Brit deserves more love
I picked up this podcast from a family member and I fell in love with it, and I support bringing attention to unsolved crimes, and I love the dynamic between Brit and Ashley, but I have observed that a lot of people do not, but I do also believe that Brit deserves more airtime. Stay paranoid!😀 (That’s a good thing)
You rock!!!!!!!!!🤩🥳😍
I love ❤️ your voices they are so beautiful together. I was listening to a episode and someone else was talking and then I started to get annoyed and I couldn’t listen to the rest so I started to play a episode with your guys voices and I started to calm down. And I love ❤️ your voices they are so beautiful 😻.
Makes the day go by
THIS IS SUCH AN AMAZING PODCAST every time my husband and I go on any trip together we get so involved in this podcast. I also listen to it while I am at work and now I have my own if I go missing and so does my husband. It has made light to many thing that I didn't even think to take in to consideration. I hope it really does make a difference and cases that go unsolved become solved due to you spreading the word please keep doing what your doing ! @Greasergirl1972
💕This is amazing 💕
my older sister started listening to this and then I listened to it and I can’t stop when I go to bed at night. I listen to it and it is so amazing and very detailed. I love this podcast.
Annoying
I tried to like this but Ashley’s opinions are annoying.
Idk anymore 😞
I have been faithfully listening to this pod for years. I have listened to every single episode up until the start of this year… now I listen occasionally. Something is definitely different. Everything is unsolved. We NEVER get to know “who done it” and it just gets old 🤷🏼‍♀️ also the freakings ads. They have got to be making a fortune 🫠
I am confused
I have been a fan of Crime Junkie from the beginning however I am confused about the latest episodes. It seems the focus has shifted from solved murders to missing and unsolved cases but that is the same thing as The Deck podcast. Hopefully they will go back to the original format that made the podcast such a success.
Very thorough & respectful— haters gunna hate
Been listening to several years along with many highly regarded true crime podcasts, acc to Reddit :) (I’m NOT a fan of comedy true crime, banter between two hosts about random things throughout an episode, the cliche true crime podcast these days, etc). Ashley and Brit nail it perfectly and so so carefully. They’re extremely thorough and tedious with research and citing their sources (I know about the citation controversy in past, along with so many other podcasts doing the exact same, and props to cj for doing what they needed to do to fix it). Ashley and Brit’s chemistry is also better than ever— what I really thought shows through in their research and episodes is how legitimately interested and passionate about crime they’ve always been, e.g., Ashley keeping a journal of license plate tag numbers as a kid in case they were criminals and esp esp her work with crime stoppers long before this podcast. Even though cj is their own thing, they’re slightly comparable to me to true crime garage— they haven’t sold themselves to a corporate company, are extremely passionate and respectful, and give a really detailed and interesting description/explanation. Re: reviews about the unsolved cases— they’re trying to make a difference in cases; that’s their ultimate goal, and with as many listeners as they have, if they were truly passionate and committed to what should be the goal of true crime podcasts, why wouldn’t they talk about unsolved cases? I get that it can feel unsatisfying to listeners, but I can’t even imagine how a case being unsolved is to victims’ family members. I don’t write reviews much whatsoever (i.e., I’m not a serial ranter!), but these recent negative reviews were not a good representation of the show at all. But haters gon’ hate. My rant is over but hope it is a little helpful to someone :).
Brit
Brit inputs way too much Ashley would just be starting the episode and Brit already asking questions fall back a little
Co-Host
Tried this podcast but the co-host and her scripted lines are too annoying.
I love you guys!
You are the first pod cast I have ever listened too! I love love love you guys it always makes my day when I see a new episode! Especially when I hear ‘and I’m Brit’ a few years ago when Brit wasn’t in the episodes due to medical issues was so sad. I’m so glad she’s back! I can relate to you guys so much!
Would be better if…
Would be better without this Brit person chiming in. Not even sure what to call this/that? Maybe this/that is here/there because them/they got a thing??
