Love this podcast!
I am absolutely obsessed with all of the stories they share. I spend my spare time listening; whether doing laundry, driving to work or drifting off to sleep. The girls make the stories what they are. They are down to earth and I feel like we are friends!!
It is good
One of the best podcasts I have listened to I would stay up late to finish an episode I love all of the episodes on the podcast my favorite one is the lipstick killer I would listen too it over and over again and I would recommend crime junkie to eneyone 5 stars
New listener and fan
I have never been a huge fan of podcasts as I struggle to stay focused long enough. I love the fact that these are the facts of one case and usually under an hour. I can listen in the car on the way to work and get through a full episode. It really brings to light the number of unsolved crimes and missing people. Ashley does a good job keeping the story moving. Not a huge fan of Brit as I’m not too sure what she brings to the podcast but this won’t keep me away.
Love! Love! Love!
I am hooked on this podcast! I listen going to work. I listen going home from work. I listen as I get into bed at night. Now I am trying to binge listen as much as possible. Keep up the good work ladies 💕💕💕
Best crime podcast
Ashley Flowers is amazing, everyone should follow all her pods.
Love it!!!
I recently caught up on *Murder in America*, my go-to podcast, and needed something new to fill the void while I wait for the next episode each week. After trying out several podcasts that didn’t quite grab me, I finally found *Crime Junkie*—and I’m hooked! The first episode had me captivated, and now I can’t wait to dive into every episode they’ve released. Highly recommend!
Used to be the Best
I hate to write this but I can’t keep it to myself any longer. I used to LOVE this show. I listened from the very beginning. But I simply can’t listen anymore. The recounting of the cases by Ashley continues to be excellent but the increases injects and opinions from Brit but it doesn’t add value to the show and it sounds like she is reading poorly from a script. I keep taking hiatuses from the show hoping I will come back and be able to listen without getting irritated but I can’t do it. This isn’t a dig at Brit personally, she is a strong and amazing person, the podcast presence just may not be the right fit.
Cytonia Beown
I had given up on CJ due t o couple cases, but it's been yrs, so decided to give it another try. Huge mistake! Britt's words of Cytonia Brown were " she shouldn't be punished for like 5 seconds of her time?! It's not like she was doing fun & games for 5 seconds, she killed a man in cold blood! Britt is an absolute moron. If somthing tragic horrendous happened to someone she loved , I hope her words come back to bite her ! So much for giving CJ another try👇
Mispronunciation
Not sure how its even possible at this stage in the podcast but the way Ashley mispronounces words to this day kills me. How does no one ever correct her. Example form recent episode: she means the word libel but says liable. They are NOT THE SAME THING. It would make me laugh if it wasnt so irritating
Amazing
I love this podcast!!! It is so important that you bring stories to light and bring justice to victims and their families. Your wonderful storytelling is mixed perfectly with relevant commentary and it just adds to everything.
Love
I absolutely love your show. Your show has made me aware of the real dangers in the world. I loved Crime Junkies so much, I listen to more audio chuck pod cast like so supernatural and park predators. Keep up the amazing work. ❤️
EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE!!!!
I came across this podcast purely by accident. I have always been a “crime junkie” even before I knew it was a thing. Most people thought I was weird. I was already two years behind from the start of it but I had a two and a half hour drive each way to and from work. I binge listened usually two to three episodes a day and quickly got caught up. I patiently waited each week for the new episode to drop but recently I have gotten restless so I went back and started listening from the beginning. I live in Ky and like Ashley and Brit, it’s eerie how many of these cases occur in your own backyard so to speak. Keep up the good work ladies. And I’ll be patiently awaiting the next “full body chill” -Todd
LOVEEEEE THIS SHOWWWW
I usually watch Law and Order SVU or Criminal Minds shows , but I wanted something different ! When I listened to the first show … HOOKED lol ! I’m binge listening right now so I can can catch up but this show has got me hooked ❤️ Love you guys🤟🏾
BEST PODCAST EVER
Hi! I’ve been a Crime Junkie for about 2 years now. I had always thought that listening to podcasts was cringey but now I think that anyone who doesn’t is weird. I love listening to Crime Junkie when I do my school work, when I’m at the gym, after a long day of school. Whenever I hear the “Hi Crime Junkies” u always feel like I’m part of a community. Listening to Ashley and Brit just makes my day a billion times better. Love y’all!!!
To much banter between hosts
To much banter between the host. Used to love this show. Need less opinions about what the host think. And stick with the facts. Loved it when Brit was gone. She always gasps and it is hard to listen to.
In love with the podcast the books just everything
Omg I just read Ashley first book All Good people Here and let me tell you there was so many twist and turns by the end of the book I was like I goto get the second. I had my suspect but then was wrong. She is the best author. I am subscribed to all the podcast she has just loves the way she and Britt tells stories amazing!!!!!
Adam Walsh
what happened to the the Adam Walsh episode? the music is so messed up. i’ve listened to almost every episode, kept up for years. but that one episode just ruined this entire show for me. also - what’s the point of brit? she’s terrible. sounds super dumb and the show would be 100x better without her. she adds zero substance. it’s obvious they aren’t real friends and brit needs to take some classes on banter. she’s so bad at her job. and ashley- don’t use the show as a way to test new music. just sloppy. gross.
New Writer?
Please get Britt a new script writer. Her confounded and scripted commentary is disingenuous and… obnoxious.
The standard for Crime enthusiasts
A professional production inside and out. Ashley has an amazing talent for details and story telling. I enjoy that she presents evidence and avoids fluff. I’ve binged all five-plus years and she has continued to evolve and improve. This show has helped through a difficult time in my life. Thank you Ashley…..and Brit.
Lose Brit
I feel bad adding to the Brit slander, but listen to the people giving you a career. You guys don’t have chemistry and there’s no genuine banter. It feels like Ashley knows this though. She clearly considers this her show and she’s just letting Brit have a few minutes for fun. Two hosts should be equal.
A go to podcast
I really like this show, but some episodes I avoid (mysterious death, unsolved) because it can be a lot of rambling. But I do like that awareness is brought to the cases that are unsolved.
It’s a good podcast but…
I feel like they are very passionate about the stories that they cover, but I feel like the episodes are way too short. They are short podcasts which is fine but there are just way to many ads. It feels like half of the show is just ads. Some of the cases they cover seems like a very quick overall compared to other podcasts that cover a lot more and go into more detail. I also wish that they would have more cases that have been solved. When they post their other shows on here it can get a bit confusing. I’m all for advertising your other shows but it feels like kind of a copy paste when you are excited for the new episode to come out and it’s from a completely different podcast. I mean all of this as constructive criticism and will continue to listen.
Just perfect
This is the BEST podcast ever! I’ve been here from the start and have never not enjoyed it. They are so good, the only thing that I might have a problem is would be the seldom cuss word, but I can totally get past that because of the rest of the podcast. Five stars!
Too many ads
Used to love this podcast but the ads have become unbearable. Within 15 minutes of the episode you have 3 ad breaks which are at least 2 minutes long. Can’t listen to this podcast anymore unless I’m right next to my phone to skip through them
One of my favorites
I started listening when they were on like episode 4. During that time I was in a DV situation. I knew it but was in denial. These girls helped me through that time. They helped me realize what my situation was. They helped me find a way out. I was listening to them as I packed the kids and my stuff. And as we drove. The “in case I go missing” folder type episodes have saved us for than once. (I attract danger I guess). They have also inspired me to become a local advocate for DV and mental health. And my dogs love Chucks sign off. Silent Juno pretends to howl too. She’s a Dalmatian/Dane mix.
Would be 3 stars…
For the love of god get new T-Mobile ad copy. That woman has being freaking getting ready to leave for France in a few days for two months now. I switched to Verizon out of pure annoyance.
Race race race
All these race baiting white knights talk about his race if anyone is black,They make sure u kno! “White dude” they called one suspect! Between that Britt hoping in with her stupid takes! Or listening to Britt talk!
I came back
I feel like they rush and no offense…why do we have Britt? She’s great but can she have her own pod?
Great podcast!
It's a really great podcast and they really do their research HOWEVER sometimes the conversations between the two hosts sound scripted or forced and it's the most amount of commercials I've ever heard in a short podcast
Stop saying ‘like’ every 4 words!
Like the podcast but the constant ‘like’ said by Ashley every other word is beyond annoying!!! Taking a break.
