Listener Reviews

Better late than never
I love love love this podcast. I wasn’t really into podcasts before this show but I’ve always been a crime junkie. I came across this show back in October 2025 and had to start from episode 1. I am now all caught up as of February 3, 2026. Talk about a binge. I would listen to and from work, while cooking, while showering lol. All seasons listened. I see why this is the number one crime show! Love Ashley and Brit! Thank you ladies!
New Crime Junkie Fan 🔥
Luv you guys and all the great true crime stories. Just discovered your podcast recently and now I’m hooked! I’ve gone back to your 1st episode and making my way thru the archives. Keep up the amazing work!!
New Fan!
I have just recently been introduced to the world of Podcasts and I stumbled upon this one and now I’m seriously addicted! I have picked up Ashley’s two books and I cannot wait to read them! I’m actually thinking about getting involved with Crime Stoppers here in San Diego, where I live. Thank you so much for shedding light on these stories that so need to be told and shared! Sincerely Haley from San Diego
😍😍😍

Enjoy the podcast
Sooo I have been an avid listener for years. I am a rural mail carrier and spend about 5-7 hours a day driving. So I have been listening to all audiochuck shows. By far my favorite episode was the candid conversation with John Ramsey. I love that it wasn’t scripted it was casual. The man has been through a lot since losing his daughter. I just have to say good work!
Amazing Cases, Some Awkward Banter
I’m a newer listener and absolutely hooked. The stories are devastating, but they’re told in a way that’s compelling, informative, and deeply respectful. Ashley is an incredible storyteller, the amount of research, detail, and backstory she brings to each case really sets this podcast apart. You can tell how much care goes into the storytelling, and it makes the cases stay with you long after the episode ends. That said, I could personally do with less of the co-host commentary. There are moments where questions or reactions feel repetitive, and the resulting back-and-forth can sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable…especially when Ashley responds with things like “as I said,” which can come across as dismissive or make it feel like the information wasn’t being tracked. It slightly disrupts the otherwise excellent flow of the narrative.Overall though, the strength of the cases and Ashley’s storytelling far outweigh this for me, and I’ll absolutely keep listening. A standout true-crime podcast.
Enjoy this
Such a great podcast … love it!
New listener
I just found this podcast a month ago. I’m obsessed! Ashley and Brit are great at presenting the facts of each case. I am currently listening from the beginning.
I looked at the decks reviews…
They say it’s good, they only like Ashley, Brit you’re cool to!
Elizabeth Smart Episode
What can I say, when someone experiences what she has and then to be such an advocate, for others who also have had similar experiences, and speak so eloquently, it truly has left me speechless! Elizabeth you are a shining light , be proud of who you have become !!!
Crime Junkie
I would have given Crime Junkie 5 stars if Ashley’s grammar wasn’t so poor.🤷🏻‍♀️
So entertaining
Super fun and entertaining, gives something to do at all times with so many episodes
Awesome!!
The best thing that ever happened to true crime podcasting. Super fantastic awesome!
SO. SO. CLOSE
This show is great, but losing me lately. Every once in a while there should be an episode of a solved case. It’s been the equivalent of blue balls. PLEASE get back to sharing a case that has been solved once in a while. We all need to hear that the bad people get what they deserve. Everybody loves a happy ending 🙃
Thank you
I’m a mom to a child with autism that has so much therapy. I was losing my mind in waiting rooms and drowning in anxiety most days of the week. Your podcast has been the top reason I no longer have crippling anxious thoughts about the what ifs while waiting. I’ve always loved true crime but when I found this once I started I could not stop. The work you are all doing is amazing. And thank you to all of audiochuck for advocating in a meaningful way and all the people you have helped. It isn’t just the victims and the family’s you help which is the most important. It is people like me as well.
Impactful and Making a Difference!
Ashley and Britt are my favorite source when it comes to Crime Podcasts. The investigative reporting is stellar and Ashley's podcasting style is my fav. She's engaging and easy to listen to. Britt is also wonderful and I enjoy those times when she's the lead. I love supporting an organization that helps solve crime.
I love this show but..
I do love this show don’t get me wrong but I feel like everyone Britt voices her concerns about a case Ashley instantly disagrees with what she is saying. Idk if this is part of the dialogue but sometimes I feel like she doesn’t have a voice. Other than that I love the stories & thank you for reporting these cases.
Great job!
I love how you bring stories about people who were almost completely forgotten, but you want to help and I think that’s awesome.
Kk
Am I the only one who likes the new episodes more than the old ones? The audio quality on these is SO much better. After listening to all of the new ones I decided to listen to the old ones but I couldn’t do it. 😅 The new ones are 5 star and I’m sure the old ones are too if you’re used to them.
Listenable.
I love this podcast I learn a lot and if I’m in a situation like this or it’s about to happen I’ll know what to do. Do not listen to at night!
Good Show, but Apple Podcasts is Terrible
