Rule #100: Be a crime junkie!
These women are passionate and incredibly awesome at the work they do. I have listened since the beginning and heard them grow and deepen their connections with their stories. PLUS they feel like my besties- even though we have never met. I don’t have a twitter but my insta is @mrsabsolutleynot. Love yall!!!!

Asha Degree update
Very disappointed that you guys are insinuating that Asha was the victim of a hit and run. A hit and run doesn’t make sense. No one “hit” and “ran”. They took Asha. That’s not a hit and run or an accident. Taking Asha was intentional. There is no evidence that we know of that points to Asha being hit by a car. Kind of seems like people want this to be the case in order to minimize the Dedmonds guilt. Perhaps you and others are doing this because it involves young White girls and your mind cannot contemplate them as villains. Asha left her home in the middle of the night and never returned. Her reason for leaving her home has to be connected to the person/s who prevented her from returning home. K9s tracked her scent to the end of the driveway of her home. My Theory is she was tricked by someone (with bad intentions) to meet them that night. That some1 picked her up in a car. Something went wrong which caused Asia (maybe she was scared) to exit the car on foot and she was seen walking on the highway, perhaps running from someone. That person caught up to Asha and made her get back in the car. Asha was never seen again after that. The Dedmond Sisters’ texts suggest the accident theory is exactly that, a theory, a made up story to hide the truth. Asha deserves justice. People need to stop with the “she was running away” story because that makes zero sense. No 9 year old girl runs away in the middle of a cold dark night and starts walking on a pitch black highway by choice. Let’s use common sense.
I love you both
I love the work you do for victim’s and their families. You gays are the actual best. Keep up the good work!!!! Love that we’re getting updates to cold cases now too bout time 🤩
Stop hating on Britt
I think that this podcast is amazing. I am a new listener but I have listened to the old and the new episodes. I also think it is despicable and disgusting what you guys are saying about Britt I like that she asks questions that I find myself constantly shouting at my phone, and WHOEVER SAID BRITT SHOULD DRINK AGAIN CUZ SHES ANNOYING SOBER WILL BE THE NEXT MURDER CASE THEY WILL COVER!!!

This show has been my go to since 2020. To the point that I have re-listened to the podcast all over again. Thank you Ashley and Britt ❤️

AMAZING SHOW!
I’m a new crime junkie someone recommended this podcast to me because I love true crime and now I listen to it pretty much anytime I do anything. I listen when I clean, when I take my dog and cat for a walk,at work, pretty much anytime I can. You guys are amazing! Please never stop what you’re doing. This show is very informative and makes you think about everything you wouldn’t before. Like how unsafe the world actually is.
True crime done right
Consuming true crime is a complex hobby as it’s rife with exploitation using tragedies like salacious gossip. Crime junkie is one of the few resources that feels like it’s done ethically. Ashley and Brit advocate action and active victims support reminding us who actually matters when we consume these mysteries. When I listen as someone as a minority I feel seen and heard and respected. I’ll give Redditors credit where it’s due, they recommend some top tier podcasts
10/10 recommend
Discovered this last spring and binged all of the episodes at work! Amazing storytelling that draws you in. Started listening to several of AudioChuck’s other podcasts as well. 10/10 recommend.
Beaumont children update
I loved how you did the new update. Would love to see more of how you did this one keep up the awesome job if I could, I would rate you more than five stars. Blessings.
Always will be my fav show
I love this show so much they put so much care and effort into each episode and each story they tell proves how much they care. I will add that everytime they reference something from another episode “oh didn’t we have something similar in this other episode” they go off on a little tangent about that other episode instead of just leaving it that one reference. Then I’m hearing this completely different story and then 5-10 min of another story that really doesn’t have anything to do with the original story they were sharing. A simple “oh this was similar to ___ episode” and the fans can go and choose to listen to that story after if they choose.
Really good I don’t like the ads
This is an amazing podcast I love is
Awesome Show
its actually hella good. i love it so much, thank you guys for a great show .
Sound quality needs work
I’ve been going back and listening to all of the episodes from the beginning. I don’t know if this issue has been resolved over the course of time and is no longer an issue in recent episodes but the sound quality and volume is a real challenge. Their speaking bits are very soft and I have to turn up the volume higher than I do for any other type of listening but their commercials are super loud and jarringly placed. I enjoy the shows and and appreciate the service they’re doing but this sound quality is a real issue and one that seems like it shouldn’t be so difficult to address. I’ve listened to all episodes from the begging thru August 2018 and this is unfortunately still a huge problem.
