I started listening to Crime Junkie when I was 8 (yea I may have been a bit young but who cares right?), I’m 16 now and continue to listen to the newest episode every week. While listening to some of the darker things that humans have done gives me a new perspective on the world, it also has allowed me to identify potential dangerous situations as a teenage girl. Over the course of the seven or eight years of listening to crime junkie the stories I’ve heard have given me a greater understanding of empathy and encourages me to find ways to better help the families of those who have struggled through horrific crimes. Ashley and Brit are sharing the high profile and the cases of people that were previously forgotten or discriminated against. So thank you Ashley and Brit for all you do ❤️
