How did Misti Vaughn, Dr. Robert Epstein's wife, die? Misti Dawn Vaughn died in December 2019 after her truck spun out on a wet road in California and collided with a tractor-trailer and an SUV. Investigators found no evidence that drugs or alcohol were a factor, and Epstein has publicly questioned — without confirming — whether the crash was truly accidental.
