This is a podcast where the story still sits with me after the episode is over. I've never felt so much frustration and anger towards our justice system.

Sincerely one of the best podcasts I have listened to. Heartbreaking in many ways and done in a way that honors those who have part of their story told. Forgiveness, truth and hope.

This story tells of a terrible injustice that everyone should hear! I hope this finds it to someone who will ‘Do the Right Thing!’~Freedom for Leo~No faith in the justice~

I don’t know where to start. Leo and Michelle’s stories have touched me in ways I did not expect. Their stories deserve to be heard. Justice still needs to be served. Our justice system has failed a great human, and yet he continues to be a good human when most would choose to be bitter. Thank you to the hosts who invested your time and energy into this - it shows through your work. I can’t recommend this podcast enough, and just hope that real change comes from it for Leo and those involved. Bravo.

This podcast is perfectly done from start to finish. It is paced very well, it doesn’t over share the same info over and over again, but you never feel lost. If this one doesn’t win awards I’d be very surprised.

I listen to this podcast without knowing much at all about the case other than what was in the trailer. It sucked me in and broke my heart. Justice for Leo!

Excellent investigative podcast. The ending was unexpected and had me in tears. I hope there is an update.

Truly heartbreaking story! I hope Michelle gets the justice she deserves so she can rest in peace and Leo can be exonerated. So many things wrong with the way this case was handled, very sad. Great podcast, amazing hosts.

Hopefully this is a other case where a podcast forces the hand of a deeply corrupt and inept local justice system to correct the misdeeds of long dead DA’s. I will follow the news on this closely!

Thank you for putting a spotlight on this case. This is an egregious miscarriage of justice. Leo Schofield deserves justice for himself, and for Michelle. The way this case has been handled is disgusting from top to bottom. I don’t want to feel bad for Jeremy Scott, but when Victoria Avalon questioned him it brought tears to my eyes. No human deserves to be talked to that way. FREE LEO SCHOFIELD!!!

I was born and raised in Polk County. I know every location mentioned, but I have never heard this tragic story. This is an excellent podcast and I couldn’t stop listening. #justiceforleo

This is not simply another murder “who done it” crime podcast. It is the story of two men — two men who both seeking justice and redemption in their own ways. I am so appreciative as a listener and a human being that the tellers let us see the humanity behind these two men, and I appreciate Leo … and Jeremy…sharing their stories with all of us. I have not been this emotionally impacted by another podcast in a very long time. Worth every minute spent listening.

Hard to put into words how powerful this podcast is. We should all be telling Leo’s story - and Gilbert King just could not have done a more phenomenal job. Wishing and hoping that justice for Leo and Michelle will come some day. Make this right, Florida!
