Love this podcast but wow was it tough to have to listen to that guy selling Digiorno. I don’t want to be mean or rude but sometimes it has to be said. If Digiorno had kept it to a 15 second ad slot and changed up the copy between the ads it would have been better… instead all I know is as soon as that guy starts with his script about his podcast voice I skip, skip ahead. I don’t even mind listening to the MS or Alzheimer ads (both very depressing). That means this ad for pizza (!) must truly be horrible. Also, if Digiorno could have positioned the ad copy to be more focused on highlighting ingredients, convenience and affordability I may have been interested to remember Digiorno exists. Instead they put down restaurants which I feel like is sort of bizarre. Digiorno’s only selling proposition is you don’t have to go to a restaurant to buy this product? I don’t have to go to a restaurant to buy pizza as is and with Digiorno I have to go to the grocery store frozen section where the lights may or may not flick on as I enter the aisle and I might die of hypothermia if I hang out too long.
