Welcome to another episode of Bent Not Broken. Heartbreak and trauma may feel like the end of your story, but here it's the beginning of a bold new chapter. I'm your host, Coach Deborah Griffiths, and this is the space where women rise, rebuild, and rediscover their purpose. Remember this truth. You are bent, not broken. Have you ever looked at your life and thought, from the outside everything looks fine. So why do I feel like I'm disappearing inside? If you've ever felt that way, this coaching session is for you. Welcome to Bent Not Broken. I'm Coach Deborah, and today we're going to talk about how to begin reclaiming yourself one small, powerful step at a time. Let's start with something honest. Healing doesn't begin when you leave. Healing begins the moment you tell yourself the truth. That truth might sound like, this doesn't feel right, I'm not happy. I don't feel like myself anymore. And here's the hard part. Acknowledging that truth can feel terrifying because once you see it, you can't unsee it. But that moment, this is your power waking up. I want you to hear this clearly. You are not broken. You've just lost pieces of yourself along the way. And those pieces, they are not gone. They are waiting for you to come back and claim them. So today we don't fix everything, we just begin. One of the most powerful things Amanda shared was this. She went to the park. That's it. No grand plan, no perfect strategy, just one decision to step away from chaos and into peace. So let me ask you, where is your park? Is it a walk? Is it sitting in your car in silence? How about journaling for 10 minutes or saying no to something that drains you? Healing doesn't start with big dramatic change. It starts with choosing yourself in small, consistent ways. Let's do something together right now. Grab a notebook or just sit quietly for a moment. Ask yourself these three questions. Where in my life am I feeling the most drained or disconnected? What have I been excusing that doesn't actually feel okay? What is one small thing I can do today to choose myself? Pause here if you need to. Because clarity doesn't come from rushing, it comes from listening. Here's what most people don't realize. Self-worth isn't something you suddenly feel. It's something you rebuild through action. Every time you speak up, rest when you need it, set a boundary, or take a moment for yourself, you are rebuilding trust with you. And that trust that becomes your foundation. Now if you're sitting here thinking, but I don't know what to do next, good, you don't have to. You just have to believe this. There is something better on the other side of this. And when you believe that, even just a little, you started moving toward it. Support shows up, clarity shows up, strength shows up. But it starts with you saying, I deserve more. So today I want you to take one step, not ten, not the whole plan, just one. Because that one step, that's how you begin finding your way back to you. If this episode spoke to you, I want you to know that you don't have to do this alone.
