What Would I doooo
With out youuuuuu. Love this podcast and the banter between Dax and Monica. Y’all are great and the guests you have on are so fascinating and span such a wide variety of topics. I would love to hear from another linguist!! 😬🙂 Thanks for all you do.
Must listen!
Been listening to Armchair since the beginning. I love the style of the interview. Hands down the best interviewer I’ve listened to.

Insightful, great officiating.., that tattoo on the arm/shoulder.., though!, why a cherry tree?.., looks like a rash¿., not hating, just saying.., podcast rocks tho
Everybody chill
Y’all, it’s not that deep. It’s a podcast. Don’t listen if you don’t like it? For everyone leaving hateful or unnecessarily critical reviews, please get a life or therapy. Or both. For Dax & Monnie (& Wobby Wob), you’re doing great. Thanks for continuing to put out content that’s enjoyable, vulnerable, funny, controversial, helpful and distracts us from all the madness happening around us. 🍒

I LOVE THIS PODCAST. PLEASE DO RYAN. 🧞‍♀️
My point of view
Dax has a very good interview style and his voice is fantastic. His co-host has a very whiny voice and that makes many episodes impossible to listen to.
Brad Pitt
Thank you Dax and Team for having this beautiful human and having him speak so much🥰♥️🙏🏻
Olivia Mun fan for life
She is everything. So real, honest… have to say top 3 interview maybe just behind dog the bounty hunter for number 2.

Very cool episode, guest was great. I also enjoyed the exercise done about having a court case in your mind and being the judge, jury, and ultimately handing down a sentencing. I actually used this exercise for my management team and we all thought it was really valuable.
I Love Monica
Monica, thank you for bringing a strong voice to these interviews. I have four dogs. You do NOT have to love dogs. Although many people love their pets, there are many dogs and owners that have not undergone proper training and have zero boundaries. People need to relax, some of these reviews are ridiculous. As for the podcast as a whole, I don’t think I would, or could, listen without Monica. I enjoy Dax but the reason this podcast works is because of the debate, diverse opinions, and varied perspectives. I will continue listening as long as the episodes keep coming! Thank you, Monica. I truly appreciate what you do!!
Bring back longer interviews!!!
Coming on here to make a small edit to my previous glowing review of this pod. I’ve been listening since the very beginning and still stand by Dax being #1 podcaster/interviewer. The one thing that’s been bugging me lately is that the interviews have been cut down for time significantly and the fact checks (which is really just like being a fly on the wall for M and D catching up)seem to get longer and longer. The best parts of the episodes are the interviews and I don’t feel we’re devoting the same time and attention to early years like we used to. I’m sure there’s a reason, but I figured I’d put it out there that I miss this part greatly. Sam Rockwell interview was just too short.
Overediting
For the love of everything holy, stop overediting this podcast and taking out any and every pause. It’s bad. I’m not sure why it’s being done, but it’s pretty obvious once you hear it.
Monica Monica Monica!
She is lovely, relatable, the administrator behind it all. Just been watching for five years. Great content… amazing chemistry, Dax is so vulnerable and authentic… they are the best duo in the podcast world.
I like the show
I like this podcast. I find the conversations entertaining and informative. I agree that the lack of sound pauses gets exhausting but all in all a good show.
Love you all and…
Some of the folks where comments are made by y’all in passing that they need to be on medication is sooooo very inaccurate and untrue. It will not “fix” their deep-seated character logical problems and/or toxicity along with their deeply flawed, and often dangerous, belief systems. Just saying this because stigma for behavioral health/mental illnesses that likely, probably, hopefully can be improved and treated with psychotropic medication, unfortunately remains rampant and all too common. It is all complex and complicated and comments about someone needing medication oversimplifies it and misinforms the public. AND, I love the podcast so very much and I’ve been an armcherry for years! The Friday Armchair Anonymous episodes help get my day off to a fabulous and funny start! Thank you!! Jami
Wonderful seeing behind the curtain
Hello from Maine! I’m kinda new to your podcast, but I’m instantly impressed! Listen to you two makes my day, there is a true friendship & connection that shines through your interviews. You’ve made me laugh out loud & cry. Thank you for being honest with us. I look forward to listening to you each week. Keep up the great work. Love to you all
Love Monica and Dax
Love both - such generous spirits that bring the best out of guests. They still don’t take themselves too seriously, which is so refreshing. And love the friends and family too. I miss synched!
Thank You
I wanted to take the time to leave a review. I really love listening to this podcast! Dax, I have been a fan since I saw you in Without a Paddle, and Monica I really learn a lot from you. I love how open and vulnerable you are, and it’s given me courage to have more grace and be comfortable with who I am myself. I look forward to keep following the podcast! Thanks again
Vulnerable, unique interviews
This show works because Dax is vulnerable and honest. The celebrity interviews are different than any other podcast. I think this is because he's vulnerable, celebs are able to let thier guard down and they see him as a peer. I find it pertinent to say Monica adds to the show, she does not take away. I hate that people are negative towards her in reviews because I think she too, is kind hearted, honest and vulnerable. All around great podcast!
One of Top Three
This is one of my top three favorite podcasts. When I run out of new episodes. I go back and listen to the older ones. Dax and Monica feel like friends - smart, sensitive, quirky and 3-dimensional. The interviews, the listener stories, the fact checks - I’m here for all of it!
More John Berndahl, Please!
John Berndahl was an unexpected delight on Armchair Expert—thoughtful, grounded, and refreshingly honest. His perspective added a unique dynamic that complemented Dax and Monica beautifully. One episode just wasn’t enough. I’d love to hear more from him—whether it’s a deeper dive into his life, more personal stories, or just his take on current topics. Bring him back soon!
Love Dax and Monica
I just wanted to come on and show Monica some love because I do think she is an important part of the podcast and I love Dax and Monica’s dynamic together. PLUS she reminds me of my bestie. I will say that the podcast is painfully over edited. I love the content but sometimes the editing is so extra it’s hard to follow the conversation.
AI
